A Word from The Dean

Welcome as a prospective student. We look forward to serving you and building a long-term relationship. Our goal is to provide you with a great learning experience

Wisdom and knowledge are both recurring themes in the Bible and are related but not synonymous. The dictionary defines wisdom as “the ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting.” Knowledge, on the other hand, is “information gained through experience, reasoning, or acquaintance.” Knowledge can exist without wisdom, but not the other way around. One can be knowledgeable without being wise. Knowledge is knowing how to use a gun; wisdom is knowing when to use it and when to keep it holstered.

God wants us to have knowledge of Him and what He expects of us. In order to obey Him, we have to have knowledge of the commands. But as equally important as having knowledge is having wisdom. Knowing facts about God and the Bible is not all there is to wisdom. Wisdom is a gift from God.

Knowledge is what is gathered over time through the study of the Scriptures. It can be said that wisdom, in turn, acts properly upon that knowledge. Wisdom is the fitting application of knowledge. Knowledge understands the light has turned red; wisdom applies the brakes. Knowledge sees the quicksand; wisdom walks around it. Knowledge memorizes the Ten Commandments; wisdom obeys them. Knowledge learns of God; wisdom loves Him.

Even people in the world understand this. “Wisdom Is the Principal Thing. … Knowledge is the accumulation of information; understanding is the grasping, comprehension and interpretation of that information; but wisdom is the application of the information which one understands.” May 27, 2014, Huff Post.

Christian wisdom is the application of God’s Word in our lives, whereas in the world it is worldly knowledge. God’s wisdom is greater than the world’s.

We have learned that to be a Christian is more than saying we are a Christian; we must demonstrate it by the lives we live. By controlling the way, we speak by what we do for the poor and by keeping ourselves pure.

James 1:26, 27 NLT If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are just fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their troubles and refuse to let the world corrupt us.

Wise people don’t argue about unimportant things. They don’t try to show how clever they are. They don’t get into senseless arguments but correctly present the truth. They are aware of the impact they have on other people and avoid making damaging statements. They try to lead lives that will point people to Christ.

RWBC is focused on you

Getting wisdom is a journey. It is not something you just have. We must make an effort to get wisdom, see 1 Kings 3. It is easy to make money but hard to keep it. If we spend more than we earn we will always be in debt. We need a plan for our finances.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Just like Solomon we should pray and ask God for wisdom. Remember, the Holy Spirit lives in us and He is God, and therefore has all wisdom. He guides us if we listen.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

The road to wisdom is paved with mistakes that produce much pain. The easy way to wisdom is to learn from other people’s mistakes. This is through learning from them through their experiences. The hard way is to learn from your own mistakes.

Proverbs 4:1-5 NKJV Hear, my children, the instruction of a father, and give attention to know understanding; For I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my law. When I was my father’s son, tender and the only one in the sight of my mother, he also taught me and said to me: “Let your heart retain my words; Keep my commands, and live. Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.”

When studying we need to ask ourselves what is our motive in studying this?

What is our goal?

Is it just get to get certified?

To be able to say I have such and such a qualification?

Whilst certification is an important aspect of studying, it should not be the primary goal. Our primary goals should be to study to get knowledge and understanding, which produce wisdom in us. This has far more value than a piece of paper and the recognition of men. There are very few people in the world that we can consider to be wise.

Proverbs 4:5-9 NLT Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them. Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you. Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. If you prize wisdom, she will make you great. Embrace her, and she will honour you. She will place a lovely wreath on your head; she will present you with a beautiful crown.

As you study make it your goal to gain knowledge and understanding so that you will become wise, because you will be full of the Word of God. Persevere and you will succeed. Don’t give up even if all hell breaks loose on you. It may be that the devil wants to stop you from stepping into your destiny.

About RWBC

Revealed Word Bible College was born on the mission field. We saw the need for training leaders, who would be able to step into what God has called them to be. After much prayer, and preparation this amazing journey began in September 2014 when Revealed Word Bible College (RWBC) was conceived, branded, and born

Our goal has always been to produce and deliver quality theologically sound, relevant teachings which are well presented and practical to the people wherever they are, at an affordable price,

It has been an exhilarating journey, a time of rapid growth. With an incredibly dedicated team, it took 15 months of hard work and lots of fun to complete the first teachings. The process included researching, writing, typing, editing, checking, printing, and training campus personal. We launched our first campus in Kenya in February 2015.

Since the first day, we have felt the leading of the Holy Spirit and have been amazed at the results. We receive a continuous stream of amazing testimonies, as our students and graduates step up into ministry. When our students are qualified, they are equipped and ready to go out to establish Ministries or to take up other Ministry positions. We send them with all the tools they need and our Blessings.

Our graduates are taking the Harvest and making disciples and thus fulfilling the Great Commission.

2 Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Have you always wanted to be ministry or are you looking for quality uncompromising bible training, that will give you all the tools you need for effective ministry? Maybe you are in ministry and want to improve your knowledge and understanding of the bible.

We want you to have a happy learning experience and get the most out of the teaching material. Our heart is that through studying with us, you will gain a deeper understanding of the Word of God. We are here to equip the Saints for the Work of Ministry.

All certificates and degrees are issued by International Missions – Revealed Word Bible Institute in the United States.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, given by the Holy Spirit. Through the Bible, we learn how to receive salvation. It teaches us the Truth and shows us what is wrong in our lives so that we can be trained to live righteous lives, being prepared and equipped to serve

The Bible

It is the infallible Word of God given to us through prophets by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:19-20) It is, therefore, the authoritative Word of God. The principles that we live by are contained in the Bible.

Man

Is created in God’s Image (Genesis 1:26) and God created us for His Glory (Isaiah 43:7) therefore God’s ultimate purpose for man is for us to Glorify him. All men have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God (Romans 3: 23) and are lost and we can’t save ourselves and therefore we need a personal Savior.

God

We believe that there is one God, not three, who created everything (Isaiah 45: 18) He is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 1:1 and Matthew 3: 16, 17) He is a Just God and must punish sin (Romans 1:18) He is also a merciful God and Loves man and does not want to punish us. (Titus 3:4, 5) and that’s why God the Father sent God the Son in the Power of God the Holy Spirit to become flesh (John 1:14) He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18) and died on the cross (Romans 4: 25) to pay the penalty for our sins (His Atoning Sacrifice) so that we may inherit eternal life.

Salvation

Is received by Grace (Gods unmerited Favour which is a gift and can’t be earned or deserved) through Faith (trusting in Jesus Christ alone) (Ephesians 2:8, 9) this is justification (just as if we never sinned) by faith (Romans 3:28)

The Church

The Church is the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27) made up of us all individually, together. She is God’s chosen vessel to minister to the saints and to bring in the harvest (John 4:35) the mission of the Church is missions. Every believer should be involved in missions, not necessarily in the same function but with the same goal: To bring in the harvest.

The Great Commission

Every believer is called to make disciples not just converts (Matthew 28:18-20). This necessitates teamwork. We all have different functions and should work together to fulfill the Great Commission.

RWBC Home page

The Poor

We need to have a holistic approach to people in need. We need to minister to the whole man spirit, soul, and body not just the spiritual side. (Matthew 25:35)

Our Expression

We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within all believers (Romans 8:9) and through him, signs and wonders follow us, we cast out demons, speak in new tongues and heal the sick. (Mark 16: 17) The time of miracles has not yet passed.

Equipping

Not only do we need to do the work of ministry, but we need to equip others to also do the same. (Ephesians 4: 11)

The CFNI association of Bible Schools was established in 1993 to further the expansion of the Kingdom in the nations through strengthening the work of leadership training in associated bible schools. Currently, there are 82 schools from 42 nations as members. Each school must pass through a vetting process.

Accreditation is an important part of certification, as it means that if a college is accredited it meets the minimum standards set by an accreditation agency. Minimum standards mean that there is accountability, that certain criteria are met, that there is good record keeping and that the college has outside recognition. Our goal is to go way beyond the minimum standards.

As a Student

When you graduate, you will not only be certified but more importantly, you will be equipped for practical ministry, with your faith and knowledge having been built up.

You will be:

Equipped for Ministry

Graduating from a bible college does not qualify anyone to go into ministry. Your character is the primary qualification and the call on your life and the anointing of God are the main requirements for ministry. Bible college is about studying the Bible as a preparation to go into ministry. Ministers need to be equipped in the Word in such a way that they gain knowledge which they can effectively apply in ministry.

Our course material is designed to equip the Saints for the Work of Ministry and is internationally accredited and recognized as such. This is not a secular qualification.

What Our Students Say About Us

Pastor Daniel Mwape of Zambia:

We have ten students in our congregation who are enrolled in RWBC Courses. They are doing well and we have noticed a significant change among them. God is doing great work in them. The Leadership Courses are excellent. We appreciate what RWBC and the staff are doing for us. Thank you so much.

Johny Swartz of South Africa:

I enrolled for the Certificate in Ministry in 2020. After I experienced the interesting course material as well as the helpfulness and professional assistance of the staff, I also completed my diploma as well as my Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. I was also ordained by the Apostolic Alignment Ministries (AAM) in 2022. The courses and study materials were very interesting, relevant, and enriching. It was Bible oriented and the focus that it brought gave me a very thorough knowledge of Christianity in general. I was excited about the courses and it was a pleasure to complete my courses. Upon completion of my studies, I had a good understanding of God and my relationship with him as well as my Christian brothers and sisters in Christ.

Bishop Oscar Bukula of South Africa:

I am currently busy with my Honors Degree at RWBC. I recommend enrolling in RWBC because it gives the learner all the tools to be equipped successfully with great results as a minister of God. We have about 20 students in our congregation who are currently busy with their studies at RWBC. The RWBC Courses yield a lot of results and fruit when it comes to ministry and I encourage all aspirant leaders who want to study further to enroll in the RWBC Course.

Charles Munro of South Africa:

I found the RWBC a very informative Bible College. The staff and the Chancellor have been very good and helpful to me in many aspects and I do recommend RWBC to any student who wants to study the word of God. The course materials are excellent.

Andries Shiko of Polokwane, South Africa:

I do appreciate what RWBC has done in my life. I do not hesitate to encourage and advise all my friends, copastors, and anyone else to enroll in RWBC. I want to thank the staff for the efforts that they always put in to assist their students over the course of their studies.
